You know what?  I’m gonna put up a new page for the Formula One Season.

The new Ferrari F-10

The new Ferrari F-10

I love F-1 and I think everyone should.  Formula One is the height of Sports Car driving.. What does this mean.. It means that if you put an F-1 driver in a car, he should be able to spank other drivers in sports cars (in theory anyways).  F1 is – by far – the most exciting sport on the planet.  ‘And yes, it is a sport you freaks!  The cars travel up to 190 on many of the tracks and it is a pure tacticians sport.  They can turn like no other cars, and when they brakes are activated, it feels like you’re hitting a wall.  The cars are phenomenal pieces of equipment that cost millions of bucks a piece.  If you want to know how cool they are; play the end of the video segment when the car is hooked up to the computer and is used to play music.

I’m gonna put together its own page so I don’t have to post my observations on Myspace like I have for the past 2 seasons.  I really appreciated all the attention on it but now.. Its on.  Maybe I’ll even get a few more Americans in on the action.  and you know what?  To wet your whistle, I’m gonna load up a video… Its what I do!!!  Just watch it.  See what happens when you put an average guy behind an F1 Steering Wheel.

— Rest In Peace — J. D. Salinger — 28 Jan 2010

Jerome David (JD) Salingersalinger is an American writer and is known for writing the classic literature book, The Catcher In The Rye.  He was born in 1919 (January 1) in New York City.  He had a pretty interesting life to include Valley Forge Military Academy.  He would also serve in the Infantry in World War II, and go to Columbia and New York Universities.

Catcher In The Rye is his most important piece of work… AND, his only published book.  He did publish other works to include 21 (KNOWN) short stories and a few poems.  ‘Catcher would eventually sell more than 60 Million copies – no doubt aided by schools making his masterpiece required reading.  The book itself follows the life of a 17 year old, young man, named; Holden Caulfield.  Holden is going through life realizing that he is having a seeming mid life crisis (to us mid life types) as he rebels from society.  He flashes back to people in his life..  HEY= This is really basic and you should just read the book.  I’m not gonna get into it or ruin if for you.

“An artist’s only concern is to shoot for some kind of perfection, and on his own terms, not anyone else’s.”

He had become reculsive and damn-near hated society but during the 80’s he would sue a guy who claimed to have a interview with him.  He would sue another freak later who would write an unauthorized sequel of The Catcher In The Rye.  He died January 28, 2010.  Rest In Peace!

After my last post, I saw that Conan O’brien kicked out a good segment and I had to post it.. In my previous post, I said that the Veyron was the fastest of Street cars… Its also, the most expensive (non-race cars).

This Is from Top Gear.  The best show on TV (BBC America if you have to ask).  I don’t even find the need to explain this because they explain everything already.. Its Top Gear.  Very few of us will ever get a chance to see an actual veyron (I have) let alone touch or, God forbid, drive a Veyron.

With Active Aerodynamics, All Wheel Drive, 4 Turbos, 10 Radiators, and 1001 horsepower, the Veyron is one of the most high-tech cars on the planet.. Watch the video for information.
