The DC Sniper is now a dead man.  Do you remember when it was happening and people were getting shot while they were just chill’in on the streets or waiting for buses or filling up their cars.  That was a bad time.  Do you remember just going damn, another one shot.  It was a bad time and the only thing that most of us Americans that didn’t live in that part of the country could say is…  It sucks but I’m glad that that’s not happening in my area.  Its not selfish but it is true.  As a matter of fact, most of us didn’t even really “worry” about it because it was so far away.

But now!  He’s a dead man and good riddance.  No one should do this kind of thing and if they do… They should be put to death.  I just find it curious that some still don’t think he should be put to death.  Its a function of distance but I wonder how many people who would be against the death penalty if their spouse (OK, lets not use spouse) or child was sitting in a park and was shot by a man with a sniper rifle.  hmmmm.
